Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid

Madrid welcomed religious, cultural and social voices to celebrate cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence. The event, organised by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, placed emphasis on dialogue, tolerance and mutual understanding. The dialogue included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers offered personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how mutual knowledge can strengthen coexistence.

In the discussion, participants considered themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity is a value for society when EU Values accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
